Its my cats claw. It the part that almost looks like a second cuticle or the skin around the cuticle. Its very red and looks like it might be infected. I can see that its red from accross the room. Is there a cream or somthing i can get for him to help? We cant afford a vet bill right this moment but i dont want him to be in pain or injured. Ive tired wrapping it but he takes it right off and ive tried putting a cone collar on him but i think it causes him more stress then anything.

Poor Humphrey! Wash the quick with warm water and antiseptic soap. To keep him from licking at it, you can put an Ecollar on him. You can get one at a pet store or make one at home. Keep the are clean and dry, and monitor it for signs of infection. If you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then it is infected and he will need to see the vet for antibiotics to treat it. Best of luck.
