Why is my cat in heat constantly leaking pee and soaking the bed?

Unfortunately this could be related to her heat cycle (hormones), a bladder infection or a behavioral issue. Since she can’t talk and tell you what’s going on, I recommend to have her checked by the veterinarian for a bladder infection. You may also discuss having her spayed which will eliminate that factor as well. We do not normally see a bloody discharge in cats with heat cycles like we do in dogs. For this reason I would recommend an exam by your veterinarian. We could have blood coming from the reproductive tract from infection or a tumor, or we could have blood from the urinary tract which could be due to infection, inflammation, bladder stones, bladder tumors. The vet will do an exam and may recommend a urine test and an x-ray or ultrasound of the abdomen to help determine the cause of the blood.

I would be extremely concerned that Lola has a pyometra. This is a life threatening infection of the uterus that requires immediate veterinary treatment. It would cause a creamy brown mucus discharge. A pyo is fatal without treatment, so I would take Lola into a vet right away. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, a urinalysis, and x-rays to diagnose she does have a pyo. If she does, spaying her in part of the recommended treatment. Please take her into a vet now.

If she an older, or neutered cat, this behaviour could be a sign of hind legs or abdominal discomfort. In that case, you should take your Catu to your local vets for a check.

If you are seeing liquid from the anus, I would be concerned she could have diarrhea or her anal sacs could be full, in which case I would recommend a veterinary exam. Cats do not bleed during their heat cycle which makes me thing the bleeding is unrelated to her being in heat. it could be due to a urinary infection for example, i would recommend taking her to your vet in order to get it checked and treated.

This is not normal at all. She may be suffering from a urinary tract infection, and/or incontinence. She is licking herself and her bed trying to clean the urine off. I suggest you take your kitty to your veterinarian for an exam and a urinalysis. If she is suffering from a UTI she will need prescription medication.
