My cat is growling and hissing after pain meds. Is it trauma or overdose?

I gv a prescribed pain killer to my cat after that he s growling n hissing n shout...he ws beaten badly few days back...is he gone insane or this s just drug overdose

It would help us if you can tell us the name and amount or dose of the prescription medication that you gave your cat so that we can tell you if this is a side effect of the medication. It is possible that these symptoms are related to pain or neurologic disease. Always be careful and seek medical treatment for cat bites if he should bite you. If he is not current on rabies vaccination, this would be a concern, as well.
