Should I worry about my cat's growing circular bald spot on her leg?

This bald patch on Moo Moo could be caused by trauma, or her pulling the hair out of that area due to itchiness. Itching in cats could be due to fleas, mites, allergies, or ringworm. I would keep an eye on the spot for now. If the hair doesn't grow back, or the spot gets bigger, then I would take Moo Moo into the vet for an exam to rule to one of the causes of itchiness I mentioned above.

Poor cat! If the wound is growing in size, it's time to go to your vet. Problems such as allergies to parasite bites, fungal infections such as ringworm, infections of the skin, abscesses/sores etc can all be potential causes which is why a vet visit is needed to determine the cause, provide treatment such as pain meds and antibiotics, etc. Until you can get to your vet, keeping the area clean and dry may help as well as preventing your cat from licking, but if he is acting ill and hiding away he is likely already painful or worsening so needs care.

I can't really appreciate the lump on your pictures. But with Midnight's history some potential causes for her signs could be allergies to food or the environment as well something called psychogenic alopecia. It looks like she has given herself a secondary skin infection, likely bacterial. The skin infection perpetuates the itch so it's like a vicious cycle. It's good to keep her on a flea preventative even though she's indoors but at this point I would recommend having your veterinarian take a look because she may need antibiotics and potentially steroids to help her itch. At that time your veterinarian can do a further exam on that lump and give you a better idea what it could be.

Poor Almond! I'm glad to hear that she is acting normally despite her skin lesion. Common causes of areas of hair loss include allergies (to fleas, food or the environment), ringworm or mange. While this is not an emergent condition, a vet should examine Almond and may need to perform skin scrapes or cytologies to determine the cause of her skin lesion so that it can be managed appropriately.

I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and treat accordingly. This does not look like a natural shedding and it does look suspicious for ringworm but a cut or abrasion can sometimes be this same circular shape. As you probably know, ringworm is contagious to humans as well. Ringworm can generally be diagnosed by your veterinarian and I recommend to get your kitty checked out so that you know what you were dealing with. Hello! Mittens' skin lesion could be a result of ringworm, mange, or allergies. Since the lesion has noticeably grown in just 2 days, I would take her to the vet for an exam. Your vet will be able to perform a skin scrape to look for mites, Wood's lamp evaluation and ringworm culture. From there, an appropriate treatment can be started for Mittens.
