Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 7 years and 5 months old | 15.4 lbs
My cat was in a fight this morning. Scratch on nose and small wound on leg (did bleed). Is it necessary to take him for an atibiotic shot? Thank you

If there is a small wound secondary to a fight I always recommend starting antibiotics since bite wounds are so prone to infection even if they seem to heal well. I would recommend seeing a vet for them to examine the wounds as well - sometimes what appears to be a small wound on the surface is more extensive beneath the skin.
