My cat fought my dog, smelly paw, eye bleeding. What should I do?

Please take her in right away to have the eye checked. If the claw punctured her cornea it can become infected and without proper treatment she could lose sight in that eye. Oh goodness, that looks like a deep infection. It could be bacterial or fungal, but I suspect more likely bacterial. He needs to see a veterinarian for an examination and treatment plan. I am sorry to hear about Stitch. Based on your description I would recommend having her examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible. I would be concerned about possible head trauma/brain injury, injury to the eyes which can be very delicate and if left untreated can result in permanent damage/loss of vision. It also sounds like she has significant swelling of the face. This is likely very painful even if your cat is not showing obvious pain (cats are very good at hiding pain) imagine if you had been mauled as your cat had. The vet can prescribe pain medication to help Stitch feel more comfortable, antibiotics if needed to prevent infection, and may also booster Stitch's rabies vaccine if it has not been done recently and this dog is of unknown vaccine status.

It is hard to tell by the picture. I would recommend taking him to a vet to have it looked at since it smells. Odor can be a sign of infection and need antibiotics. It is also possible he has pillow feet This is were the paw pads tear and bleed.

This presentation may be compatible with a infection and the weird smell may come from the presence of pus. A picture would be extremely helpful to confirm it. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm this clinical suspicion and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed. I am sorry to hear that Lestat is hurt and painful. Bite wounds almost always become infected, and by your description it sounds like he has an infection. I do think it wound be a wise idea to have him evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. My concern in waiting would be the infection worsening to the point of him becoming septic. It is also the end of the week and if you aren’t seen tomorrow you may have to be seen an an emergency facility which is typically more expensive than a general day practice. Poor Blacky. If at all possible, Blacky needs to go to an emergency clinic right now. This could be as minor as a skin scrap, or as severe as a ruptured eyeball. If you are unable to get to an emergency clinic, use a warm wash cloth to clean off his face and get to a vet as soon as possible if he's squinting or his eye looks odd in any way.
