Poor Clementine! If she's keeping the eye mostly closed and it's oozing green or yellow discharge, she definitely needs to be seen by a vet - she'll need prescription eye drops to treat the infection. Normally, this shouldn't need to be an expensive visit. Costs will vary depending on where you live and which clinic you go to, but it should just be the exam fee, possibly an eye stain to check for scratches or injuries to the cornea, and then whatever medications the vet prescribes. If cost is a concern, you can call some local clinics in your area to get prices before your visit.
