Why is my cat eating, drinking, peeing a lot with a belly lump?

My cat has their hanging lump on her lower belly. And I don't exactly know if it's causing harm to her. She squirms and meows when I hold her. And she eats and drinks allot. Also she pees like anywhere she can. But won't when she is in my room. I don't know if any of it is connected. I just would like to know if my cat is going through something that is natural.

No, none of these symptoms are natural. They all indicate that Minnie is sick and that she needs veterinary care. This hanging lumping could be a lipoma, benign tumor, or a malignant tumor. Drinking and urinating all over the place could be due to diabetes, kidney failure, or hyperthyroidism. Those would also cause her to eat a lot too. She needs to see a vet as soon as possible to diagnose what is causing her symptoms so she can be treated. Please bring Minnie into the vet first thing Monday.

Even though a picture would definitively help me to understand better the nature of the lump generally speaking this kind of lump/growth needs to be assessed by your veterinarian to have a definitive and specific answer. Usually there are two ways your vet can do that a part from examining it directly during physical examination. A biopsy can be taken under local or general anesthetic, otherwise a smaller sample through a fine needle can be aspirated (this technique is called FNA= fine needle aspiration).
Differentials include skin cysts, infections, benign or more sinister type of tumors.
Increased level of urination/thirst could be related to a urinary problem, possibly renal failure or urinary tract inflammation/infection. Other differentials are possible anyway (endocrine diseases for example).

Causes include kidney disease, lower urinary tract disease, diabetes, infection (if not spayed consider pyometra or uterine infection), thyroid disease, liver/gallbladder disease, other endocrine/hormone problems, etc. I would advise getting Fusspot evaluated by your veterinarian. Your vet can take a detailed history, examine her, and then advise diagnostic tests based on those findings. Usually a minimum database is a good start (fecal/blood/urine tests and imaging studies such as x-ray or ultrasound. Once a diagnosis is made a sound treatment plan can be discussed and implemented. Thank you for submitting your question regarding Lily. She will need to see a veterinarian. The symptoms you have described are very worrisome. Cats can actually develop a liver disease if they go too long without eating. The veterinarian will feel her belly and try to determine the source of the knot. She could be pregnant, have a wound under the skin that has become infected forming an abscess or even have a mass in her abdomen. Her veterinarian may recommend x-rays and bloodwork based on her exam findings. I hope this information helps!

Why is my cat losing weight with a tummy lump but still eating?

It's definitely a good sign that Zinnie is eating, drinking and acting normal. The pictures are not very clear, but I do see a large swelling in the abdomen. This could be a few things: 1) Abscess (infection) 2) Tumor 3) Abdominal hernia (a tear in the body wall) 4) Cyst Since Zinnie is young, I think it's likely that this is an abdominal hernia. This should be checked by a veterinarian, because it can quickly become worse if not corrected by surgery. You can also have her spayed during the time of surgery. Dog has growing lump, drinks more, and is lethargic. What's wrong?

So sorry she is having these problems. Drinking and urinating more can be a sign of kidney disease, Cushing's disease, diabetes, Addison's disease, infections, thyroid disease, etc. The only way to know the cause is to have a vet run some bloodwork and a urinalysis. The lump could be a cyst, infection, benign or cancerous mass. A needle aspirate or biopsy may be necessary to diagnose. She really needs to be examined by a vet. Try to find a low cost clinic in your area or a vet that would take a payment plan. You could also apply for Care Credit which is a veterinary credit care. Hope you can find her the help that she needs.

This bump on Mino could be a mammary tumor. Those can be common in intact female cats. It could also be that she may have mastitis from nursing. This needs to be checked out by a vet, and I would take her into one today. Best of luck.
