My cat ate corn flakes. Is it safe for cats to eat human cereal?

Make sure that he doesn't get to eat the silk part of the corn as it can cause blockage of his intestines. As long as most of his diet consists of a well-balanced cat food, a small amount of corn every now and then is OK and will not harm him. I hope this is helpful!

A few cheetos may not make Felix sick but it could. Watch for vomiting or diarrhea. You may try feeding him a bland diet of boiled white rice and plain boiled white chicken meat for 24 hours. Have him examined if he becomes significantly ill. I hope this helps.

It definitely could harm to feed some human food depending on the particular pet, what is fed, and of course how much. I would advise staying away from feeding human food to your cat. Many foods can cause GI upset and other problems including toxicity. Cats are carnivores, so they can utilize protein and fat better than any carbohydrates. While rice and bread is not toxic for them, they will be more likely to gain weight if they eat too many carbohydrates, so it is best to limit them to small treats only if at all. Be sure the read the label on the cheese chips to make sure there isn't any onion or garlic powder in them which can be toxic for cats. A small amount of plain oatmeal should not be harmful for Sally, as long as there are no added flavorings. Anything with artificial sweeteners or spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg should be avoided, as they can be toxic to cats.

Flour is certainly safe for a cat to ingest - it is not something that would alarm me. However, cats are carnivores and are not very good at digesting plant material or grains. So, while flour is just fine as an additive in pet food (grains are often added as part of cat food to help keep it shelf stable), and I would not worry about a cat who licked some flour off the floor, I also would discourage you from intentionally feeding it to your cat, as it is not something they are good at digesting and provides minimal nutrition.
