My indoor cat has a scab near his ear. Looks like a hole. Is it bite?

That looks like a bad bite and needs to be seen by a vet right away. Cats that go outside are more likely to get into fights with other cats, and these wounds can easily become infected. Your vet can clean and drain the wound, and provide antibiotics, pain meds and other treatments as needed.

this could be from fighting or scratching. I would observe the lesions and if they scab over or start healing, you need to do nothing. If they increase in size or if a swelling appears or if they start to ooze pus, you will need to have them examined by a veterinarian as they may be turning into cat bite abscesses, which are easily treated. (treatment ,would depend on severity, ie an abscess may have to be lanced, flushed and antibiotics prescribed).

This may be a small reaction to getting bitten by something or an allergy to something in the environment. the skin around the scab does not appear to be inflamed or infected and that is a good sign. If it does not go away or begins to spread or bother him, I would see a vet for medication to clear it

It actually looks like Toby has been scratching himself in that area, and since it's near the ear, that could suggest an issue with his ear such as an ear infection. Skin cancer is unlikely at that age. It is more likely that there is an infection there which did not clear up as antibiotics are needed. Bite wounds must be considered always infected. A check up is needed. Your veterinarian will flush the wound first and prescribe local or systemic antibiotics.

Tiger needs to see the veterinarian. It is likely already infected judging by the hair loss and redness in the area. You should protect it from further scratching by having him wear an Elizabethan collar at all times. That is the best way to make sure he does not scratch at it which will make it worse. It’s possible he has an infection, an abscess or had a fly larva living in his skin. Best to get it seen today if at all possible. It looks like she make have gotten a small wound on her head, maybe from getting swatted by another cat. Cat claws and bites tend to make wounds with small holes that seal over and trap bacteria inside. This will form a small abscess which will then rupture, which is what this appears to be to me. Keep an eye on it and keep it clean with a washcloth, warm water and a mild soap. Clean it two or three times a day and make sure to get all the soap off or it will irritate her skin. As long as it continues to improve and she is acting fine, eating and drinking, she should be fine. If it closes up again, swells, gets really red, hot, or if she starts acting sick or loses her appetite, get her in to see you vet as soon as possible as she may then need antibiotics to clear up the infection and heal.
