My cats ear is pusy and keeps draining. Should I take her in to see vet or get a ear solution?

It looks and sounds like Selena has an ear infection (Otitis externa). This is uncomfortable for her and if left untreated can damage her ear drum. Your vet will need to perform an ear swab to determine whether she has mites, yeasts or bacteria causing her infection, and will then be able to dispense the correct ear medicine. An over the counter ear cleaner will not resolve this problem in the long run.
