What to do if my cat is dying, in pain, and I can't afford a vet?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed

I just asked a question.i have absolutely no way to take my cat to the vet. I have no money and the vets in my area and beyond dont accept patients without upfront payment for services.. I've tried all of them.. I think my cat is dying.. she is spasming, in pain, bloated and drooling... I don't want her to suffer.. what do I do? :(

I'm very sorry to hear about your kitty. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about something like this at home. If taking her to the vet is not an option, then please contact your local animal control officer and see if they can help you have her cared for, or humanely euthanized.
