The most important thing to do for the bite is to first flush it with clean water using high pressure to flush deep into the wound. Flush the wound for at-least 10 minutes. You can then apply iodine, or chlorhexidine solution to the wound and bandage it. Cat bites can be very dirty, so I recommend flushing the wound with water twice a day for at-least five minutes each time until it is healed. The iodine will only be necessary for the first three days; after that it should be stopped, because it can delay healing. Do not put any other products (i.e. tumeric or detol) on the wound, it or can complicate the healing process. If Gulabo has not been vaccinated for Rabies, then I highly recommend she get vaccinated as soon as possible, because rabies is spread through bites. If you start to see swelling or pus coming from the wound, then I recommend taking her to the vet doctor for treatment, because she may need antibiotics. Poor Luna! Gently clean them with warm water and antiseptic soap. Put her into own room where the dog has no access at all, and make sure she has a litter box and water in there. Keep the wound clean, you can clean it with regular water at least twice a day, i would recommend applying antibiotic cream after you finish cleaning the wound 2 times a day. bear in mind it might still end up infected like most bite wounds and will require systemic antibiotics as well.
