Why is my cat suddenly disoriented, confused, and struggling to walk?

It may not be his time yet but he does need to be examined by the veterinarian today. The disorientation and potential blindness is concerning for low blood sugar, hypertension, a brain tumor and a few other conditions. Some of these conditions respond very well to treatment and some don't but first, you must know what is happening so you know the treatment options. This does not sound normal and I recommend to have her examined today. A blind cat generally does not have trouble walking. Instead they tend to walk slowly and cautiously but they are not unbalanced. A sudden onset of neurological signs is always concerning and could indicate poisoning, a stroke from a blood clot or even potentially infectious diseases which can infect humans like Toxoplasmosis. These symptoms suggest that Stidi hs problems with the middle ear (infection, inflammation, polyp, tumour) or it may be related to brain disfunction (blood clot within the brain, ruptured vessel in the brain, tumor). Please, take Stidi to your local vets as soon as possible. If the symptoms are due to middle ear problem, he will need a course of strong anti-inflammatory medications and possibly antibiotics to get better.

Poor Lolo, she might have a severe ear infection or an inner ear polyp, which can be easily found in young cats. There is not much you can do at home for her, she needs a vet examination to confirm wether it is an ear condition or something that affects other parts of the nervous system. Is there any chance he could have eaten anything that he shouldn't have? Intoxications commonly cause disorientation and balance issues. If not, he could have an inner ear problem affecting his balance. It is best to have him examined. If he is still off balance, it will make him nauseous. It could be Squishy is suffering from vestibular syndrome, which causes problems with balance and coordination. You need to have him seen by a vet for this problem, and I would take him into one in the morning.

In very rare occasions, antibiotics can cause neurologic damage and this may be an indication of this. These episodes may also be seizures. I recommend having your cat examined by a veterinarian who can perform a neurological exam to see what is causing these episodes.
