She needs to be examned by a vet to determine the cause. It could have been a seizure but could also be caused by a heart problem, like cardiomyopathy. Your vet can do a workup to diagnose and then determine if treatment is needed.

Hello and thank you very much for your inquiry. Right off the bat, I began to think of your cat as having mild seizure activity where he loses consciousness and thus control of his bowels. There are also some diseases that cats can get which causes irregular heartbeats or irregular blood flow to the rest of the body which temporarily knocks them unconscious and then they lose control of their bowels also. You need to take your cat to a veterinarian to have a complete cardiac and neurologic work up performed. There is a possibility that your kitty had a seizure, or fell unconscious due to a heart condition. When you were cuddling with him, he got really excited which could have triggered a seizure or a syncope (unconsciousness due to not enough oxygen getting to the brain). I strongly suggest you have Scooter examined by your veterinarian.

Poor Chase! Falling over and urinating while going rigid often occurs as a result of a seizure. It is highly unusual that a seizure would have such a consistent and repeatable trigger, but not impossible. At this point, I recommend taking him to the vet for evaluation and diagnostic testing. Syncope is a sign of a bad heart. Pets can have seizures for many reasons including liver disease, idiopathic, electrolyte imbalance, infections, inner ear problems, cancer or epilepsy. Hi, has Carols heart been checked over ? If so and everything appears to be well, it could be that Carlos is suffering with a neurological episode, a partial seizure.A neurological exam and advanced imaging such an MRI or CT scan will be able together with more specific blood tests and spinal tap, to give more detailed information. However since he has random episodes and he other ways may be normal, I would recommend to film him once he has an episode so that his vet can have a look at it and see exactly what is happening.
