My cat is chewing her bed. Is she teething? What can I do to stop it?

This is likely behavioral. I would recommend providing her with plenty of toys that will keep her occupied. You are likely describing teething which is basically a normal type of behavior when kittens are growing up and it is secondary to mouth discomfort as teeth are growing. I recommend that you get Callie teething type toys which you can get at your local pet store or online. Anytime that she tries to nibble at you, you say no and give her the toy. This is quite normal behavior and I would allow him to comfort himself with the one towel as long as there are no shred which can fall off and be swallowed. Kittens will generally grow out of this behavior themselves as they settle into a new environment and mature

Usually by 1 all of their adult teeth are in. She is maturing so this can lead to behavioral troubles. Make wiser she has toys and activities to prevent boredom. Some cats like scratching pads while others are happy with card board or a large stick for their claws Just make sure you keep enforcing the rules so she understand what is acceptable

And you can apply nail caps. Other options is to keep her off the bed with noise deterrents. Yes he could be teething. This behavior is common in young kittens. Please keep him in a safe place where he can’t chew on electric cords. He should be less bitey as he grows up.
