Hello! So for awhile my cat has had like a brownish/blackish crust in and around his nose that I have been cleaning. Lately it seems like there’s more of it. He hasn’t ever presented any other symptoms that have been worrisome so I never thought much about it but I heard it could mean something bad? Could this be normal or do y’all think I should take him in for this? Thanks! ❤️ (some pics below of stuff I’ve cleaned off for reference)

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This may be nasal secretions from something like an upper respiratory infection. I recommend that you have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for this possibility and treat accordingly. Good luck and have a good night!
