What breed is my blue-eyed, vocal, friendly cat who waits at the door?

He is so cute! I can't tell you based on pictures alone. A pixie bob usually has a shortened tail and I can't see his in the picture. They also have an orange belly. I suspect if you didn't get him from a breeder he is probably just a domestic short hair. Kisses to Keanu!

WIthout a picture it is hard to say, but it sounds like it could be an American Shorthair. Cat breeds are much more difficult to decipher than dog breeds unless they are very obvious, such as a Sphynx or Siamese. If you are really curious and want to know for sure, there are companies that provide DNA testing. This will give you more information on your cat's lineage.

There is something about his face that indicates he may have some Siamese or other Oriental breed in there but mostly Domestic Short hair. Have a great day!

He is beautiful. If I had to guess, I'd say a husky/Keeshond or Norwegian Elkhound cross. Those beautiful blue eyes come from the husky, and that black mask with the grey, black tipped coat reminds me of the Keeshond or elkhound.

Cute cat! It would be hard to tell just by looks what breed she is, however I see some possible oriental background with the longer face, perhaps mixed with a domestic shorthair. The best way to find out breed is through a genetic breed test, which usually only requires a cheek swab that is then sent to a lab. It might be worth doing if you're curious about her breed!
