Sudden Changes in behaviour can often be related to pain. i would advise checking Cow over for any wounds or monitor him for changes in his walking. You might also want to check if he has a fever;

If he is eating and drinking normally and seems fine in himself continue to monitor for a few days.
If the changes in behaviour do not go away please post another question to the forum in a few days and we can help you again.
