My cat's bite wound is bleeding, has pus, and is getting worse. Help!

That leg looks very painful and the puncture may have abscessed (infection). This can be due to a fight with another cat, an injury, or even an issue with how the leg is healing. It would be best to bring Billu to a vet ASAP as the wound will need to be thoroughly flushed out and then treated with a course of antibiotics and pain medications to help him recover.

This type of wounds must be considered always infected. A check up, appropriate disinfection and possibly antibiotics (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) are needed to solve the problem. It sounds like Kitu may have a bite wouldn’t abscess. These usually need to be drained and given antibiotics to resolve. In the meantime you may consider applying a warm water and Epsom salt compress to the site. This may help with discomfort and also may encourage drainage. Poor Luka! From the picture you have provided, the edges of the wound make it appear to be an older wound, not a fresh new one, and it appears to be healing. That being said, I cannot rule out any additional wounds or any infection without seeing him in person, and it is a pretty good size wound. To be safe, yes I would take him into the vet just to get it checked out and to make sure there aren't any other problems. I hope this helps!

Cat bites often become badly infected and if the wound is not healing, he has developed a fever r is otherwise unwell you should discuss the new symptoms with your vet. They may wish to prescribe an antibiotic if the wound has become infected

Depending on the nature of the injury, kitty may need sutures or staples, antibiotics and pain medication. Blood in the urine is a sign of stress, and weakness indicates that this kitty has a general illness such as infection going on that isn't being properly treated for.
