Is a bald spot or thin fur near my cat's ear normal for cats?

It is normal to have a small area of thin hair in front of the ears, such as what you're seeing in Brownie, so that is not a concern as long as Brownie isn't acting abnormal by scratching excessively at the ears or showing other signs of discomfort. His hair otherwise looks nice and thick in the photos so I suspect he has normal shedding, which you can help control with regular brushing. However, if there are patches of distinct hair loss, or if he seems itchy, then you should have a vet take a look to make sure he doesn't have a skin condition requiring medication. Hope this helps.

As long as the skin is not red, thickened and there are no raised bumps, this is likely normal. I highly doubt that you caused the thinning of hair on Kren's ear tips. I never say never, so yes, there's always the possibility that you may have exacerbated this hair loss, but the likelihood is very low. Instead, it's more likely that Kren has another issue causing this hair loss, as Dr. Howard mentioned. While this certainly isn't emergent, I do still recommend making an appointment with Kren's vet to have her ears examined. I hope that everything goes well!

I am not sure what you think is abnormal. It is normal for a cat's ear to have that shape. There may be a little crust in the top part of that cavity, but it does not look serious. If it gets infected or red have a veterinarian examine it.

I can't 100% tell where that bald spot is located but it looks like it is just a nipple. It's normal to have thinner or no hair surrounding a nipple so if that is on the belly I wouldn't be concerned. As long as it remains a normal color and is not irritating Dylan or Jackson I would not be concerned. Certainly monitor for changes and bring them to see your veterinarian if you become concerned.
