My cat ate purple heart plant. Is it toxic and causing upset stomach?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | 3 months and 5 days old | 2 lbs

Cat ate some purple heart (wandering Jew) and has an upset stomach. Wondering if it's poisonous or just causes gastrointestinal upset.

The leaves typically do not pose a risk of toxicity. The sap in the stem can cause some stomach upset. This can usually be managed with a short fast followed by a bland diet fed in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve.
