I am really freaking out right now, my cat might have ate the paper wrapper from a large muffin that was sitting on a plate. She grabbed it and ran off with it and I can't find it. The emergency vet said that it will likely disolve and that if it were her cat in this situation she would just watch her instead of bringing her in and inducing vomiting. What should I do?

She should be able to pass it on her own.
Monitor for lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, abdominal pain or straining to defecate. These are symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian.
