Pet's info: Cat | Thai | Female | spayed | 6.6 lbs
my cat's urine Ph is high 8 i.e alkaline. Age 2 yrs, female,spayed.She is suffering from uti infection and has triple phosphate crystals plus protein +1 in urine.is there any medicine to decrease the cat's urine Ph and make it acidic?How to dissolve the triple phosphate crystals?Can vinegar diluted to water be given?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The urine pH does affect crystal/stone formation. The type of pH that is recommended is based on what type of crystals your car has or what you are trying to prevent. Typically this is controlled by diet and water intake (volume). I would recommend reaching out to your regular veterinarian to discuss which type of crystals you are concerned about and appropriate preventative measures. Good luck!
