Once you get to the new house, it is recommended to restrict her to one room for 2-3 days and it is also recommended to not let her outside the house for two weeks. keep the cat carrier open in the new house as it will be a comfort zone for her during the first 24 hours. try bringing as much from her stuff as you can to the new house (water and food bowls, scratching polls...).

You can find all sorts of GPS tracking collars as well for cats. Findster and TabCat are two examples of GPS collars that I have seen. Once you have moved and are in your new place, it will take some time for your cat to get used to the new surroundings. I would recommend keeping him indoors for at least 6-8 weeks before letting him outside. You might even consider walking him on a leash around the property so that he is used to the outside. Great question! Make sure to keep Tazi's bedding and familiar object with her, Don't wash them beforehand, that way the old scent is still on them and that will reassure her. Leave the carrier out now, in the open where she can see it and get in it if so inclined. Then it won't be such a shock when it come time to put her in it. Get calming pheromone based diffusers and put them throughout the current house and in the new on as well as soon as you can. In the new house, make sure she has plenty of places to hide, perch, get up off the floor and look out the window. Scatter her toys throughout the house so there are familiar things nearby. If she hides somewhere when you finally move, let her. Put food, water and litter where she can get to it and let her explore on her own. Congrats on your new cat! I would wait another couple of days, then take Pus out in the garden supervised. Let him sniff around and check out the sights and smells of his new home, but don't leave him alone. After about 15 minutes outside, I would bring him back in. You can do that a couple of times a day for a week or two so he gets used to his new home, and has familiar scents that will help him find his way back home. After that, you can let him outside unsupervised :-)
