What's the best monthly topical flea & parasite prevention for cats?

I usually use Stronghold or Revolution. These products are spot on though but they are very effective. Hi I would suggest you buy a box of 6 pipettes of Revolution. Make sure you apply one pipette on each cat to the skin to the back of their neck, so it’s important you part hair when applying it. You need to repeat it every month. I would also suggest you spray the environment to kill all eggs and larvae present. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I like Bravecto for flea and ticks. It is a topical that works for 3 months. Then I would use interceptor monthly for heartworm and intestinal parasites. Or you can use Advantage Multi and the Seresto collar for the ticks. But you are right there isn't a product that gets everything for dogs or cats. Have a great day!

I would recommend either Revolution or Comfortis for flea prevention. If he has a really heavy flea load then you can first give a Capstar, which will get rid of the fleas within 1 hr and then follow up with a flea preventative for long term control.
