I would check online at local pet sites online, Facebook, or check local cat rescues. Keep in mind that unless the kitten has been seen by a vet, you don't have a guarantee it is healthy. I hope you find one soon :-)

Hello. The best anyone can do is call your cat a Domestic Shorthair. Perhaps in the future, we will have the ability to distinguish breeds through DNA , like we can do with dogs now. But, the entire cat genome for every breed has not been established yet. You would need to contact a shelter near you, or try and find a local rescue. There are many breed specific rescues out there, so doing a google search for the specific breed or coloration you want may turn up some results. Many of these rescues are willing to ship or drive pets if they are not currently in your area.

British Shorthairs are so cute! The brands of food I recommend are Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Eukanuba, or Iams. I feed my cats Royal Canin. Ichiro will need a kitten diet, so get that. Royal Canin has a British Shorthair specific kitten food called royal canin british shorthair kitten. I recommend getting him that. Each brand of food has a different daily allotment, so read the bag of food to get the instructions on how much to feed him. With dry food, you can leave the daily allotment out all day for him to nibble on when he's hungry, or you can divide in into three equal portions to feed once in the morning, once at noon, and once in the evening. He will need a kitten food until he is 12 months of age, and then you should switch him to an adult cat diet. I hope this helps!

I would advise contacting your vet office and see if they can help you place them. They often have a list of clients seeking pets. Other avenues would involve your local humane society, pet rescue groups, etc. These groups often screen potential adopters and would be a great resource. I know this is very tough for you, but if you get the right people involved, everyone will feel better in the end knowing that they were placed into good homes. Good luck
