Why are my 8-month-old cats suddenly picky about their food?

hi, hasif here.have 3, 8 months domestic short hair cats. siblings. For the past 2 month or so, and lately its been kinda serious to my observe, their appetite is kind of weird, finicky, or i just dont know. they are used to eat boiled chicken since birth along with moms milk. now tehy wont eat. for the past month ive tried alot of new meals, the just wont eat. once i tried mixing their chicken with gravy pouch whiskas, and for like 3 weeks or so they loved it. now 2 of them seems bored of it?

It's possible they could be picky eaters, however a complete checkup with your vet is a good first step to make sure there aren't issues such as GI upset, allergies, parasites, illness, etc that could be causing them to not eat as much.

If they check out healthy, removing all extra snacks and treats between meals and only offering their food may encourage them to eat. You can moisten the food or add in a little bland boiled chicken to make it more enticing as needed. Cats also tend to be drawn to things that are smelly, so warming up the food to make it smellier may encourage them to check it out as well.
