A bird is trapped inside my house. How can I get it out safely?

If your budgie becomes hungry enough, she may come back to eat, which you can then close the cage and bring her back inside. If you do recapture her, a vet visit is best to check for any injuries. If the cage is small enough, you may be able to transport Coconut in it by placing a towel or pillowcase over the top to make it dark and calmer for her when traveling. If you can't move the cage, catching her when the room is darker and she is calm, and then placing her in a travel cage that is covered and dark may help her relax and stay calm until you arrive at your vet.
