My lovebird laid a dented, infertile egg. Should I be worried?

If you are not planning on mating her you really should try and stop her from even laying the eggs in the first place. She will lay eggs as long as she has nesting material to do so. The best thing you can do is take her nesting papers (or whatever material she is using) out of the cage. Letting a bird lay eggs without a male could be dangerous for her. Things to be worried about would be egg binding and depleting her calcium. You don't have a male so of course the eggs will be infertile. If you take the eggs away soon after she has laid them she will immediately go back into laying mode so that is not recommended. I would say wait about 3 weeks before removing the eggs.
