Why is my Gouldian finch fluffed, on cage floor, and not flying?

That can be a general sign of illness, especially if he is sleeping on the floor of the cage (it's hard to tell from your photo). Keeping him warm and eating and drinking can help, however since the behavior has been ongoing for a week it is best to bring him to a vet for a complete exam. Birds are great at hiding illness, so ruling out any issues such as nutrition problems, infections, illnesses, etc with your vet is best.

I'm sorry Gansito isn't feeling well. Lethargy and puffed feathers are very nonspecific signs of illness in birds. But it could be be serious as birds don't show signs of illness easily. They try to hide thier illnesses as long as possible. Make sure his cage is in a warm, quiet, draft free environment. Try to encourage him to keep eating, cooked eggs are a high nutrient food that may tempt him. Millet is better than nothing but not very complete nutritionally. But he probably needs a veterinarian as soon as possible to evaluate what is wrong. It could be anything from a viral infectio, fungal or bacterial cancer or any other illness. Good luck to Gansito

If Bonnie is fluffed up, not eating or drinking and very listless it is likely that she may be ill or injured and veterinary care should be sought. if all your birds are affected, it is possible they are all ill from something contagious, or the cage may need to be moved to a warmer/less drafty spot to help keep them warm enough. Keeping them warm, eating and drinking, and separating any visibly ill birds to a hospital cage until they can receive care is best to prevent the spread of illness.

Restlessness, picking or pecking at body parts, and holding a limb (whether it be wing or leg) in an abnormal way can all be signs of pain or discomfort. Sitting in a food bowl may be a sign Alex just isn't feeling well enough to perch or doesn't feel like she can balance safely without falling. Having Alex examined by a veterinarian who specializes in birds is a good step toward figuring out what is causing her pain. Your vet may recommend radiographs to see whether there is something going on that would explain her unusual behavior. In the meantime I would keep all of Alex's food and water bowls on the bottom of her cage and lower her perches to almost the bottom of the cage so she doesn't hurt herself if she has trouble balancing or grasping the perch. Providing heat support in the 85-90 F as an incubator can give some comfort, but is not a substitute for a treatment. Offering water via a small syringe can help maintain hydration. Respiratory diseases (psittacosis) and gastrointestinal infections due to Trichomonas and Giardia are quite common as well. Intestinal parasites or infections, metabolic (liver, kidney) disorders, nutritional deficiencies, inhaled or ingested toxins are just a few of the possible causes.
