Bruno appears to be female. This is determined by the color of her cere ("nose"). In female budgies, it is flesh colored, in males it is noticeably blue. She may be coming into her breeding season which could be a potential cause for the appearance of her cere. Blood sexing is available through most veterinarians who see birds. Sexually mature females during breeding mode, will often tear up paper and place in their wings, a quirky female lovebird thing. Both your birds look pretty young still! Cere color changes are normal as parakeets reach sexual maturity.
