My conure hit her head, was dizzy, but seems fine. Should I worry?

With any major injury/accident, it's always best to bring your pet into the vet to rule out any internal problems or injuries that may have been missed by you. Keeping an eye on Koopa until you can get to the vet, watching for changes in eating/drinking habits, behavior, visible injuries such as holding a wing weird or perching funny, is also a good idea.

I imagine if it was only a short time and she didn't get stuck then she will be physically fine but possibly a little stressed. I would let her settle in quiet area and keep an eye on her. If she shows any sign of injury it would be best to take her to an avian vet.

If she hit her head and cannot stay awake this is an emergency that may require veterinary intervention. If she is acting normally now, able to walk and eat then you can monitor and reassess tomorrown but if she is unresponsive or lethargic or difficult to rouse then she needs a veterinary assement asap. Oh no! Poor Tuco! So sorry this happened. Luckily, it sounds like he is just fine. So glad he is flying around and acting normal. My recommendation is to just monitor him closely for the next 24 hours. If she starts showing any signs of injury or illness then I would get him to an avian vet right away. If he was squished that hard I would suspect he would already be showing some signs if he was truly injured. Hope this helps. Best wishes!

Oh no! So sorry to hear this happened. If she is acting normally, eating and drinking, etc. then I don't think it is imperative to take her to the vet. Just monitor her closely for any signs of illness and definitely take her in if that happens. As for the marks on her, you can use this spray on them if you want to but they aren't actually abrasions as the skin appears intact. It is only where the feathers have been removed and the should grow back with no issues. Thanks for reaching out about Tipu. Monitor for repetition of the episode. If persistent problem, a veterinary visit is recommended. Possibilities include neurologic disorders due to ingested toxins (lead, zinc, plants, etc.), metabolic disorders, nutritional deficiencies, head/neck trauma, infections (viral, bacterial, fungal), just to list a few. Monitor appetite. Providing supplemental heat in the 80-85 F range can give some support. Good luck.
