My conure ate chocolate. What should I do to help my bird now?

Oscar my conure got into choc. Is there something I can do to ward any effects off. Thankyou

Unfortunately there isnt an antidote to the toxic component of chocolate. Effect really depends on how much and what type of chovolate he ate, the darker the worse. If he had a little (consider that this is a very small amount for a bird's size) I would treat him as normal and keep a close eye for changes, however if he ingested a substantial amount I would go straight to the vet as he will need supportive care.
