My old cockatiel won't put weight on his right leg. Is it an injury?

Hello I have an old cocktail ( had him for 25 years) who won't put weight on his right leg. He can move around but is off balance. He still eats and drinks on his own. Can this be from an injury? It has been 4 nights 3 days.

Hello, it sounds like Chu cho has definitely damaged his leg. It could be a sore on one of his toes, an overgrown nail, or a break or sprain in the leg amongst other things. It has been a while since it started so I would doubt if it will get better by itself. I would take him to an experienced avian vet to examine him. This will be quite stressful for him especially with his age.
