Pet's info: Bird | Canary | Male | 2 lbs
I have just purchased a canary today and since I have had the canary it has been puffed up or all of its feathers ruffled up. The tail feathers seem to be untamed completely. I have not heard it sing or chirp. The bird is eating and drinking however I am worried the bird is sick upon research I have conducted. I am new to this and I am not sure what to do. Please help

Tweet is probably very ill, but i couldn't tell you what is wrong based on these very general symptoms, you will need to take him to an avian vet where a blood test and faecal exam will be done to determine what is the cause of the disease before it can be treated.

I am concerned because all the symptoms you describe are typical of sick birds. If there is any way you can take this bird to an avian vet, you should do so, as it may need to be on antibitiocs and pain medication.
