Parrot Yawning non stop I've got a new budgie (male). In the first couple days I noticed him yawning non stop, like 20 times. As he did so, he stretched his neck out and half closed his eyes. Then sometimes he would even bring one foot up. Was he choking? When he stopped it he continued sitting peacful as if nothing happened (hes new to home) nothing came out his mouth and his droppings are normal. I didn't catch him doing it for about 2 months until today. Is this normal? Explain?

He is exhibiting symptoms of respiratory infection. This may be bacterial viral or due to parasites (mites). Consider having him examined by your veterinarian or an experienced avian vet to diagnose the exact cause. The new bird should also be examined to confirm good health. Keep both birds warm and as stress free as possible until they see the veterinarian.
