Female budgie breathing sounds like a blocked nose. Should I worry?

Providing heat support in the 80-85 F range can give comfort. Removing perches and providing a soft towel on which to stand will require less energy expenditure. Maybe a dog/cat veterinary can at least provide some antibiotics or consult with another veterinarian. There is a fair chance this is not bacterial in nature, including metabolic (liver, renal), ingested toxins (plants, metals), other. Good luck.

If you are seeing discharge from Pegasus' nose or he is having trouble breathing, it is possible he has a respiratory infection ongoing that needs to be seen and treated by a vet to get him feeling better. Until you can get to the vet, keeping his nose clear of debris with a clean washcloth, and keeping him warm and eating and drinking may also help.

Anytime a small bird like a budgie has abnormal breathing sounds I recommend they get checked out ASAP. This is because respiratory diseases can become very serious, very quickly so early diagnosis and treatment is important. Your veterinarian may need to do tests but in some cases an exam and antibiotics are what is needed.

Those pictures are very blurry so it is hard to tell anything, but if there is discolored discharge coming from the nose and it is making Bella have a hard time breathing, she could be suffering from an upper respiratory infection or blockage of the nasal passageways. It would be best to get her into a vet ASAP so any blockage can be flushed out and treatment can begin to treat the underlying issue. In the meantime, keeping her warm, stress-free and gently wiping any debris from the nose to help her breathe better may help. You may also want to place her in a hospital cage if she is housed with other birds, and provide easy access to fresh water and a balanced diet until you can be seen by your vet.

I would recommend taking your bird to the vet as soon as you are able. Respiratory disease can be very serious, especially in small birds. Unfortunately, these symptoms point to illness. A visit to your veterinarian or an experienced avian vet would be recommended. Birds are quite adept at concealing illness, so by the time they are showing symptoms, they are already quite ill. For now, clean and sanitize the cage, bowls, toys and perches. Discard anything that cannot be sanitized. Use paper towels on the bottom and change daily. Keep the cage away from strong drafts and keep your budgie warm and as stress free as possible until she sees the doctor.

Vanilla is probably ill, but i couldn't tell you what is wrong based on these very general symptoms, you will need to take her to an avian vet where a blood test and faecal exam will be done to determine what is the cause of the disease before it can be treated.
