How to train a young, temperamental horse to do basic tricks?

Having had Siberians for more than forty years, I know just what you mean about training. Many people try to train their dogs by "making" them do something and then rewarding them for it . . . such as saying "give me your paw," grabbing it and raising it, and then praising. Instead, try to catch Troy doing what you want, name the behavior, and then reward him for it. For example, if he puts his paw on your knee, say "Shake (or whatever comand you want to use), good dog!" and reward. This is a different kind of conditioning and can be very useful with stubborn, hard-to-train breeds. She is able to start learning immediately - the most important skills are sit, wait, come and 'leave it'/drop. With these you can attract her attention and focus and ask her to put down anything undesirable she may pick up whilst out walking. Be sure to use positive reinforcement and encouragement throughout training and do not attempt to punish her if she is confused

I'm glad you want to train Felix. Working on tricks can be fun and prevent boredom. You can train him with treats and lots of praise and repetition. I'd start with calling Felix by his name and rewarding when he looks at you. Then call him and give a hand signal and ask him to come. Again reward him if he moves closer to you, eventually getting him to come each time. As for other tricks find something he likes to do like like spinning a wheel and give it a name and reward him when he does it. Then you should be able to ask for the spin and he'll do it on command. I would recommend using treats to show Blessy what you want, and to reward her when she does what you ask. It has lots of details on training dogs in general, as well as instructions for training specific commands like sit, down, come, etc.

Consistency is key. I would also use treats and/or a clicker to elk with training. You could also get a training to come in just a couple of times to help pin point what is keeping him from listening. It sounds like he is young and probably has a lot of energy therefore, doesn’t want to listen and sit still. You can also try a calmin chew like composure or composure pro. Keep working on training everyday. I would try to take 10-20 minutes everyday to work on commands without any distractions. Use small chewy training treats so he doesn’t get distracted by the process it takes to chew up a large crunchy treat. I hope this helps.

This could be tricky - you need to find some kind of treat or reward that is better than chasing a cow or a horse. You should focus on training a recall command like come, and practice without distractions first. Then introduce a distraction and continue to work on the command.

Hi there. Rabbits aren't usually well known for many tricks, but they are usually pretty food motivated. I would find one of her favorite foods and use it to encourage/ teach her to do tricks. Have fun!
