Dr. Nicole Vumbaco received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2011. During her tenure at CSU she developed a strong interest in emergency medicine. After which, Dr. Vumbaco pursued a rotating internship at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver. This rigorous internship focused on further clinical advancements in internal medicine, emergency, critical care and surgery. After completion, she pursued emergency veterinary medicine within the northern Colorado region.
Professionally, she puts an emphasis on progressive and integrative practice. Her additional interests include pain management, trauma/surgery, field services, infectious disease and critical care.
She has an approximately 4 yr old lab mix named Pancake and a 14 yr old feline named “Cat”, both rescues. On her off time she loves traveling, spending time with her family/friends, live music, photography, FSU football and being outdoors.
