I graduated from veterinary school in the Hebrew University, Israel. Following an internship, I completed two residency programs at UC Davis. After board certification, I worked as a senior scientist in the Waltham Centre of Pet Nutrition in England, and later came back to the USA and started a new veterinary nutrition service in Colorado State University. I later moved to Long Island, NY to teach in a new veterinary school.
I recently moved back to California, where I currently am. In addition to my academic position, I serve as a consultant on a major veterinary network and as the president of the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition.
I enjoy helping animals through nutrition, and having an impact as a researcher and a teacher for the next generations of veterinarians. I enjoy being active, traveling, movies, casual video games, and spending time with my partner, and of course with my cats, dog, and tortoises.
