Training & BehaviorMy cat is used to staying indoors. What body language/sounds should my cat make if she’s enjoying going for a walk on a leash?
If you're interested in leash-training Sofia, you'll want to do so gradually. Starting with short outings in the yard, you can then work up to going on longer trips. Signs she is interested in doing this can include wandering around and exploring, walking alongside you, etc. If she is tugging on the leash to try and get back inside, trying to escape her harness, or is digging in her claws and not wanting to move, she is likely not enjoying it and you should take a break.
