What are the best dog and puppy food and treat brands to buy?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. In terms of treats, I think the milk bones products are both nutritious, palatable and reasonably priced. Good luck and best wishes!

You will need to check that your local Petco has a Vetco clinic branch as well, they will have a look at the vaccines she already got and will let you know which ones need to be done next. regarding food i recommend one of the following: Orijen, Acana, Evovle or Taste of the wild.

Getting a new puppy? What should I do to prepare for their arrival?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. What truly defines a high-quality premium diet for my dog or cat?
Hello and thank you for reaching out to Boop by Petco. My top recommendations of veterinary diets include Hill's Science Diet, Purina, and Royal Canin. These are well-known brands that are stocked in veterinary hospitals, and are AAFCO formulated to be balanced and appropriate. I recommend avoiding grain-free, boutique diets from other brands, as these are not regulated and often are do not have balanced nutrients. I hope this is helpful!
