I think that all of these brands are about the same in terms of quality and vary mainly in marketing. None of these brands have a veterinary nutritionist on staff or have conducted any feeding trials, and they all use many 'non-traditional' ingredients which may vary in digestibility. Unfortunately terms like 'fit for human consumption' do not have any legal definition, and I would not be concerned about the use of brewer's rice in a food. Hello buddy is a yellow lab and he loves to chew on Rawhide. I can't seem to find the huge rawhides he likes that I buy at Christmas time. Can you recommend any treats that he can chew on for long periods of time? I see that dr. Foster and Smith sell
My favorite rawhide chews are sold through a company called Raw Feeding Miami (www.rawfeedingmiami.com). They have large, very durable rawhide rolls that are all-natural and made without any chemicals or artificial processing. They're quite thick and last a long time, even for big dogs - I would highly recommend giving them a try if you're looking for a good rawhide for Buddy :)

That has to be frustrating for you! Dogs have different personalities, and although most dogs are very bonded to their primary caretaker, some dogs seem to take that person for granted. Your dog might just assume that you will always be around. and these other people are more exciting. To increase the bond with Maximus, I recommend you spend quality time together alone. This may be walking, cuddling. or playing with toys. I also recommend working on training sessions. This will help teach him to pay attention to you. Here is a link that discusses teaching 5 basic commands. If Maximus is already great with these commands, look into adding more. Hi there. I do like the Himalayan Yak Chews for large-breed dogs - just make sure to get the largest size they have. Large bully sticks and all natural rawhide chews (I like the ones made by Raw Feeding Miami) are also good options.
