Directions are on the back of the bottle. A 15lb dog would get one tablet daily. Ideally, Jackson should be examined by your veterinarian to diagnose infection, corneal injury, distichiasis (eyelashes rubbing eye) or obstructed tear ducts. Place an e-collar (cone) on him to prevent trauma from rubbing or pawing.

Yes, it could be allergies but it could also be conjunctivitis. If he seems otherwise OK I suggest you try this product. If after a few days of use he does not seem better then I think a vet exam would be warranted. https://vetericyn.com/product/vetericyn-plus-antimicrobial-ophthalmic-gel/

This is a good general eye wash: ( http://www.allivet.com/p-8131-vetericyn-plus-eye-wash-3-oz.aspx ) For tear staining I recommend Angel Eyes products. They seem to work the best. ( https://angelseyesonline.com/products/ ) Hope this helps. Great question!

IMHO, there are much better medications to combat mange. If your veterinarian has diagnosed mange in your dog he can prescribe Bravecto flea and tick preventive which will also kill demodex and sarcoptes mites. Do not use the Goodwinol near the eyes and any other mucous membranes without the advice of your veterinarian. Call your vet whether he thinks it is suitable for your dog's condition.
