Hello. I am curious and would like to know, are there any brands that sell tasty treats for hamsters? And what they are called? Currently I use living worlds donut treats. Are these good treats or are there other treats that I can try?
Oxbow has the best and highest quality products for small animals. My favorite is the Virbac veggie chews. They contain no meat products. Instead a good dental cleaning and extraction of any diseased teeth should be discussed with your veterinarian before using chews. Harrison's Bird Diet is the best food out there. It is pelleted so there can be some resistance from your bird transitioning to the new diet if he has been on a seed diet, but it is nutritionally complete and very high quality. Toys I find that lovebirds like have been cotton rope toys that they can preen and groom like the feathers of another bird.
