I'm a nervous mom too, so I certainly understand what you are going through. The way most vet clinics do surgery is that we try to do all surgeries before 1 pm, so they have at least a few hours to recover before they are sent home. Most vets prefer to do dog spays first, so Sienna may already be done with surgery! Often, we do not call after each surgery is over, but will call after all surgeries are over for the day to verify pick up time. But every vet clinic does things differently, so I can't be sure how your vet clinic does things. I'm sure everything is going well, but if you really need to know if Sienna is done with surgery, you can always call to check on her. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Poor Fat baby! I would call your local PetCo and see if they off the vaccine clinics. They can provide you with a list of services they can provide. Sometimes vaccine clinics only do vaccines and do not provide medicine or see sick animals. You will just need to call and see what your local PetCo offers. I hope this helps and have a great day!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I think it would be ok to wait until tomorrow as long as he is otherwise doing well. Loss of appetite can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you keep your appointment to have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and others depending on the findings on exam. I do agree that an abdominal ultrasound is the next best step. Treatment would be based on findings. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would ask your Veterinarian for an oral sedative for you to give 2 hours before travel. I would use the Feliway spray in his carriage. Once you arrive at your new home, he should be kept in a room by himself away from the other animals for a week then use a baby gate at the door for the him to see and greet the other cat and dog. Do that for a week, then remove the gate. be sure he has access to this room to run away if he needs to. This room can be your bedroom. Use the Feliway diffuser in this room.
