If you don’t think they will let you bathe them, than I would recommend a few things. Use a warm wet wash cloth to wipe them down a few times Today. Also, next time you are running errands stop by a Pet supply store and purchase some of the dry shampoo. This can be really helpful. If these cats are males and have recently been neutered then the odor may take a few weeks to resolve as the hormones fade. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.

Cat don't really like baths so I can suggest these things: 1. A [fish oil supplement](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/wild-alaskan-salmon-oil-cat-food-supplement) that can be mixed into their food. 2. Use a [waterless shampoo](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/tropiclean-waterless-cat-shampoo-deep-cleaning) product instead of traditional bathing. 3. Daily brushing. Brushing helps to stimulate the normal oils in the skin. Hope this help. Best wishes!

The only air "fresheners" we worry about with cats are essential oils. I've included more information about that below. http://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/blog/essential-oils-cats/ Any other air fresheners are fine unless your cat has asthma or is sensitive to certain scents. Don't forget that cats' sense of smell is much better than ours, so an air freshener that is too strong can actually deter a cat from wanting to go in the room with it. The most important thing in keeping the room smelling good is scooping the litter box at least once daily and cleaning the entire thing (changing the litter completely) at least once weekly. I also noticed that you have Creamcicle listed at unneutered. Getting him neutered will also decrease the odor of his urine which might be helpful. Good luck! I hope that was helpful and answered your question. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

There are cat and dog specific shampoos available at most pet stores, or on big box websites like Chewy or Amazon. While you certainly can bathe your kitty, I typically don't recommend this as a regular activity since the majority of cats do a great job of cleaning themselves. Unless your cat is getting herself into something that is causing her to be overly filthy, I would recommend letting her do the job herself to avoid yourself getting battle wounds. Hope this makes sense.
