The good news is there are no ingredients that are toxic, so you don't have to do anything for him. At most, you may see some stomach upset in the form of diarrhea, vomiting, lethargy, and loss of appetite. If you do see those signs, then have him seen by a vet. I hope this helps!

Hi there and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, there are some good low calorie treats called "Tricky Trainers"which are only 3kcal/treat. They taste very good and smell good too! My dogs at home go bonkers for them. I hope this helps and best of luck!

My dog has food allergies. What chews are safe during a food trial?
The key to doing treats while a dog is on an elimination diet is to use treats that have the same ingredients as the food you are trying. Sometimes the easiest way to do this is to use canned food of the variety and flavor that you are using to put in a Kong or bake into treats. Other options would be to use sweet potato chews if the food you are feeding has sweet potatoes in it (which Zignature kangaroo does not) or giving dehydrated chews that are the same meat source that you are feeding (which will be a challenge for a kangaroo food). So, for the food you are feeding right now, the best option may be to use canned Zignature kangaroo to create treats for Lucy. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. My dog is twitching and can't walk after puppies. Is it low calcium?
Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Cookienear! Cookie needs to go to a vet immediately and be evaluated for hypocalcemia, which is low calcium. This is a serious condition after giving birth in some dogs. Once the diagnosis is conformed the Vet will give Cookie an injection to raise her calcium and prescribe medications.
