Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Even though Addison's stool was negative for parasites I would still deworm her. Sometimes the adult worms do not shed eggs in the stool. Intestinal parasites and giardia are common causes of diarrhea in puppies. Otherwise I do not think it is wrong to change her diet. Chicken is the main allergic protein. Whether you want to go grain free, that is up to you. The meat protein is more important. I think Taste of the Wild is fine, I feed my dog one of their foods. I hope this helps and I wish Addison the best!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! As you have probably noticed there are plenty of diets in the market. I personally prefer the Science Diet and Royal canin products. This is based on the quality of the ingredients used, palatability and also the fact that they practice evidence based nutrition and have extensive research on their diets. Good luck and have a good night!

I like Missing Link Original. If your local Petco does not carry it you can order it online or ask you local store manager to order it for you. ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/brand/the-missing-link ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Hello. You have quite a very handsome group of pups! The best dog foods most vets will recommend are those made by Purina, Hill's Science Diet & Royal Canin. I personally feed mine Purina One True Instincts. These may not be the very cheapest foods out there, but they are definitely more reasonable than the incredibly high priced boutique foods which are no better than the basics. Hope your guys do well & thanks for using Boop by Petco.

There are so many high quality foods available for dogs that it can be confusing, and marketing becomes the biggest tool that food companies have to try to give their food the "edge." Be aware that this has led to A LOT of general misinformation. I give you this information openly and honestly as a professional who has devoted the last 10+ years to the health and care of pets. Dogs (and wolves for that matter) are omnivores, meaning they have evolved to seek to eat and digest meat AND plant material. In comparison, cats (and big cats such as lions, etc) are obligate carnivores, meaning they absolutely require meat as their primary food source. While some dogs may have sensitivities to diets with grain, many dogs do not. Just like people. And for those who do NOT have a problem with grains, they are a healthy contribution to the diet. That is just a fact. The trend to favoring "grain -free" diets has been pushed by marketing and the trend of fad diets for people that fav
